Handcrafted with Care Using pH-balanced cleansers

Fine hair does not need less conditioning — it needs the right conditioning. Rise & Rice Conditioner Bar was built around that idea. Every ingredient was chosen to deliver softness and manageability without the heaviness that flattens fine hair and undoes everything a good shampoo bar just accomplished. It pairs naturally with the Rise & Rise Shampoo Bar for a complete wash day routine built around one goal: clean, lifted, full-looking hair.
Kokum butter is the conditioning base here — a dry-feel butter that conditions without greasiness or weight, making it one of the better butter choices for fine hair. Hydrolyzed rice protein does its best work in this formula, adding the body and fullness that fine hair is always chasing. Jojoba oil and licorice extract add a finishing layer of lightweight moisture and smoothness without tipping the formula into heaviness.
The conditioning agent in this bar was intentionally kept lighter — the same deliberate choice made in the Rise & Rise Shampoo Bar — so the result is soft, manageable hair that still has body. Vitamin E adds antioxidant support throughout. Grapefruit, lemon, and rosemary create the same bright, fresh citrus scent as the companion shampoo bar. Made in small batches by hand.
Is This Bar Right for My Hair?
This conditioner bar was made to pair with the Rise & Rise Shampoo Bar — and like its companion, it was formulated from the ground up for fine, thin, and volume-hungry hair.
The key to conditioning fine hair is doing enough without overdoing it. Too much and the hair goes limp. Not enough and it feels rough and unmanageable. Every choice in this formula was made to land in that window — kokum butter for conditioning with a dry, non-greasy feel, a lighter conditioning base so the bar adds manageability rather than weight, and hydrolyzed rice protein to build the body that fine hair always needs a little more of.
If your hair tends to fall flat after conditioning, this bar was designed to break that cycle.
Shampoo Bar Instructions– Lather the bar in your hands, then massage lather into scalp. Rinse and apply conditioner if desired.
Conditioner Bar Instructions– In the Shower: Wet the bar and glide it between your hands or directly onto your hair from roots to ends. Work through evenly, leave for 1–2 minutes, then rinse well.
As a Leave-In Conditioner - Lightly rub the wet bar onto the ends of damp hair. Distribute with fingers or a comb, then style as usual.
Keep it Happy! – Let your shampoo and conditioner dry between uses on a well-draining dish to make it last longer.
💡 Bonus Tip: Use the conditioner from roots to ends in the shower, but then use the conditioner again as a leave-in just on the ends.
Avoid contact with eyes. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. For external use only.

Shampoo and conditioner bars can last 50-100 uses depending on the length/thickness of your hair and how well you take care of your bars. Bars that not allowed to dry between uses will tend to get mushy or soft and will not last as long. Soap savers or soap dishes will help extend the life of your shampoo and conditioner by keeping it out of standing water. If you don't have one, check out these:Â Soap Savers
All of our shampoo and conditioner bars have ingredients that our hair loves including essential oils and natural colorants like mango powder and clays.
I have sensitive skin and have had to alter my formula to accommodate my sensitivities. If you have sensitive skin, it's best to always test first. Then let us know if you have a sensitivity to our shampoo or conditioner bars. We love feedback so we can make the very best possible product for you.Â
As an artist of handmade products, I can attest that we are not machines. We can't always do things exactly the same time, every time. This includes everything from the ingredient amounts to how many poppy seeds we drop on top. You will know its handmade when every bar you see has its own personality, it's own look.
Whereas, commercial soaps are made by machines and are produced exactly the same way every time. There is definitely consistency, but no artistry in commercial products.
As someone who thanks God for the wonderful products that come from animals, I tend to create soaps that use animal fats. However, our shampoo and conditioner bars do not have any animal fats or beeswax in them. Please check the ingredient list of the bars for things that might not work for you. Most of the surfactants used are coconut-derived.
In addition, as a small handcrafter, none of my products are tested on animals.
No. Our shampoo bars are "Syndet Bars". That stands for "Synthetic Detergents". They are much more mild than lye soap as well as pH balanced for your hair. The synthetic detergents are mostly coconut-derived.
As a handcrafter, we try to use a more sustainable way of packaging our product. We also offer you a couple options for packaging:
Sometimes trying new products, especially natural products that may work differently from commercial products, your body might start to detox and make change to your skin, hair, etc. Sometimes the change may be a negative one at first while your body adjusts to the new product. If this happens, don't immediately set aside the product. Your body may take a few days to a few weeks of use to work itself out and come to a balance.
However, if you are having an allergic reaction, discontinue use immediately and seek medical help, if needed. (Even natural ingredients have allergens that people can react with. Patch test first if you are worried about sensitives.)
If our product(s) just don't work for you after consistently using them for several weeks, or if you have an allergic reaction to one of our products, please contact us so we can discuss a refund or replacement of the item(s).
Yes! Law requires us to include the INCI name for our products that are considered cosmetics which is anything other than soap. Soap is not considered a cosmetic, so we don't include usually the INCI ingredient list. Whether we are required to include the INCI list or not, we always include the common name list so the ingredients are easily recognizable.Â
We want you to know how each ingredient affects the final product, if just out of curiosity or allergy-related. We've compiled lists of each ingredient and what they bring to the table. Check them out here: Syndet Ingredients, Butters & Oils, Additives (special oils, etc.), Scents (essential oils & fragrance oils), and Colorants (powders & clays). You will also find these links in our footer at the bottom of each page as well as in the drop-down menu. If you don't see a particular ingredient listed, let us know, and we will add it. You can also google the standard name or INCI name for a good snapshot of the ingredient and its uses.
